Do I need to provide the content before design begins?
Not necessarily. We start with a content brief and structure session to understand what needs to go on each page. If you have copy ready, we incorporate it from the start. If not, we design around a clear content structure and you can fill it in during the revision phase — or we can discuss copywriting support.
What's the difference between website design and website development?
Design is how the site looks and is structured — layouts, visuals, hierarchy, and user experience. Development is turning those designs into a working, coded website. We offer both as separate services or combined. Most clients benefit from doing both with us, since the handoff is seamless and we design with our own build in mind.
How many pages are included?
The Essential Design tier covers up to 5 pages. For larger sites, we scope per project — every additional page or complex section is factored into the project quote. We're transparent about scope before anything begins.
Can I use my existing brand or do I need to rebrand first?
If you have a solid existing brand system — logo, colors, typography — we can design directly within it. If your brand feels inconsistent or underdeveloped, we'll flag it and can discuss a brand refresh alongside the design project. Good website design requires a strong brand foundation.
What tools do you design in?
We design in Figma, which makes review, feedback, and handoff straightforward. You'll be able to view and comment directly in the file — no need to install anything or wait for static screenshots.
